Little Shop of Horrors- Day 28

Today we did a dress rehearsal however we only got as far as act one. On Monday we will run the entire show. I'm nervous about my change before da-doo because I only just about made it and I plan on adding more to my costume but I feel with practice I will get there in time.

Little Shop of Horrors- Day 27

Today we finished all the set and I made a letter for the cast so they can reserve seats. I feel the stage looks greate and the plant is looking cool. Hopefully the cast will come back with money for tickets so we can fill up the hall.

Little Shop of Horrors- Day 26

Today we ran the show, or at least tried to. We got about halfway through act two before we ran out of time. I feel like the show is ready and it is looking greate. I think we need to go over Just the gas because the timing isn't quite right. My goal is to know my lines for show week.

Little Shop of Horrors- Day 25

Today we put ourselves in groups to work on things other than the performance.

My group is box office and front of house, so we spent the lessons creating a seating chart, ticket sale diagram and the tickets themselves. I feel that the tickets look good. Our next objective is to organise the front of house and we are thinking of asking the ambassadors to help out.

Little Shop of Horrors- Day 24

Today we sang through all musical numbers with Owen so he can rehears with us and he can add some harmonies. we managed to fit all the songs in the lesson but we ran out of time to work on harmonies so I hope we will have time and another rehearsal with Owen so we can add them and sound better.

Little Shop of Horrors- Day 23

Today we cleaned the stage and started to get it prepared for the show. We cleaned the paper off the stage moved Audry two off the stage and added more layers of paper to it. I really feel like the show is there especially when we got the flats up and are painted.

Little Shop of Horrors- Day 22

Today we ran act two. I feel it is going well we all just need to get off book and know lines and stuff. "The Meek Shall Inherit" I think needs some work, we just aren't getting the words right and the dance is a bit off. So we spent some time fixing that and it is good again.

Little Shop of Horrors- Day 21

Today we created "Just the Gas" so Kyle and Dan went of to work on the scene while we learnt the dance. I really like the dance because it is kind of crazy in a subtle way and the movement is kind of simple. I just need to work out the timing of all the movements as I find myself falling out of time in places.

Little Shop of Horrors- Day 20

Today we ran act two, I feel it went well, we have done everything before and we are just running the show now and working on the final touches. I think we just need more energy when on stage and doing things. Also the opening of act two there is a scene then "Call Back in the Morning" but in the track it skips the scen and goes straight into "Call Back in the Morning" so it doesn't really flow well when we run it but when we do it with Owen it will flow nicely.

Little Shop of Horrors- Day 19

Today we ran act one. I feel it went well and we've done pretty much everything before, everything but "Just the Gas" which we are doing soon. My goal is to learn all my lines and be off book soon and to run the show with energy from the start.
